“One of the worst hostel I stayed in Singapore. Its nothing like the brand name it is or even the photos. I refused to believe the negative reviews and went ahead to stay for a night, here's whay to expect:||||Reception||- No shoes allowed into the hostel, you're greeted with a mountain of shoes scattered around and filter stairs.||- Staff is too lazy to do house keeping hence they ask you to remove shoes, what's worst is that they didn't even do any basic floor cleaning||||Bed||- The double bed looks absolutely gorgeous in the official photos, it's a trick. It looks dated, poorly maintained, dirty bed sheets and pillows with stain, staff couldn't be bothered to change after the guest leaves||- There is tiny cockroachers around the dorm, I manage to flick on off my bed before it could crawl into my mouth or nose or ears at night. Disgusting!||||Bathroom||- The male bathroom is located next to the pantry, it's damped and poorly maintained||- Limited shower rooms what worst is everything is broken, there's no shampoo. They give the guest bar soap so you can share together unhygenically. Yucks||- The tiles has moles and it feels humid and dirty. I wouldn't even take a dump at their toilet bowl.||- There's only 1 hair dryer and it doesn't work after a while||- Rented towels at 3 dollars looks like towels guest personally left over and reused||||Security||- There's no access card needed to enter the hostel or dorm, anyone can walk in pretend to be a guest and steal your stuff||- The lockers next to the bed doesn't work, it's just for show. Some couldn't even close properly or house little bugs in it||||Guest Sentiment||- Before I left, I heard the receptionist telling his colleague a bunch of Thai tourist left the hotel and forgo the nights stay even after paying for the bed. Not surprised.||||Service||- Generally the staff is very nice and friendly. But the hostel is badly maintained, I feel like lodging a health inspection report to the authorities so they could take action on the hotel operator. Somethings needs to be done.||||Value||- I paid for the double bed and it's not worth it at all. I rather pay double the price to get my own room and toilet at geyland hotels which are so much more modern and superior.||||Avoid this place at all cost!”

“(Revised review) Stayed in July 2019 as a female solo traveler in female dorm only. To be honest, the place was clean, however the only uncomfortable moment was when I entered the stairs right after the door, it was smelly due to many shoes in the staircase. The pantry was nice and quiet, I chose to wake up earlier so I could grab a bite and sip my drink for breakfast. There were only two males besides me at the time I was at pantry. It was peaceful. Simple breakfast offer : bread, jam, instant coffee. All machines worked nicely. Some guests could be pretty loud sometimes, mostly males (based on my experience at that time). All my roommates in female dorm were all very respectful, many were Asians and some Caucasians. And other hostel buddies I met at pantry were also very respectful and nice, we talked and helped each other. The staffs were okay, one of them was pretty rude to me just because I'm Asian. Near to a MRT. Pretty hidden location, so you may ask anyone if you're confused. Overall, pretty okay experience, although I couldn't get proper locker because I got the broken locker one. Could've been treated better. Thank you, though! Not a very recommended place from me. As what the staffs there told me "Just go stay at 4-5 stars hotel if you want to have best facilities and services." JUST ENOUGH for once.”

“ABC Premium Hostel in Singapore offers excellent value for budget travelers. Back in 2018, the nightly rate was around IDR 300,000, though prices may have increased since then. The hostel features a bunk bed or capsule-style setup, providing a cozy and comfortable stay. The air conditioning is effective, and while the bathrooms are shared, they are well-maintained. Guests can enjoy a simple breakfast of bread or cereal in the shared kitchen, and there’s a living room and lounge area for relaxation. The location is highly convenient, just a 300-meter walk to Farrer Park MRT station, making it easy to explore the city. If you’re looking for affordable accommodation in Singapore, this hostel is a great choice. However, if you prefer private amenities and hotel-level comfort, be prepared to spend IDR 1.5 to 2 million per night for a proper hotel room in Singapore.”

“First of all, this is a hostel. So it is not fair to have hotel-like expectations. This hostel has comfortable sleeping spaces. There is a kitchen and socialization area. For me, the facilities seemed clean enough. Two secure lockers are provided. Conveniently located near an MRT station. The breakfast is very basic. While the staff is 'polite', I would not say they are friendly. This hostel seems popular among Indonesian travelers. Thus, you will be immersed in Indonesian culture, despite being in Singapore. While your roommates will be talkative and curious about you, they may lack an understanding that the sleeping area at night should be regarded as a quiet space. This is the reason (the only reason) that I will not stay here again. However, if a good night's sleep is not a concern for you, then surely, as a humble and easy-going traveler, you will enjoy both the facilities and clientele of this hostel.”
